Safe Harbor Ranch. What is a Veteran? A Veteran is a man or a woman who at one point/ in their life wrote a blank check to the United States of America for the amount of up to and including their own life…Selflessly they lay their lives on the line each day to help defend our freedom, liberty, and way of life. We owe them and their families so much!! Those who do come home, oftentimes fight a whole new battle. We are losing on average 22 veterans a day to suicide. This is a frightening statistic but a reality nonetheless. PTSD, emotional and physical injuries, mental illness, anxiety, and the pressures of transitioning back into civilian life can cause intense relationship damage, drug and alcohol addiction and other major challenges. They were there for us now it’s time for us to be there for them. YOU can join the mission. Introducing, Safe Harbor Ranch. A veteran service ranch located in Fairview Utah designed to help Veterans make their transition from active duty to civilian life. The process begins by providing an emotional support animal, individually selected by each Veteran in the program. A professional dog trainer will work alongside the Veteran to ensure proper training and progress throughout the program. Each support animal returns home with their very own Veteran. The program provides a safe haven with professional physical therapists, psychiatrists, fitness trainers, animal trainers, and much more. Music therapy and an outdoor amphitheater create the perfect environment to encourage creativity and family togetherness. Family members are invited to participate during Family Day. Disabled Veterans are given the opportunity to heal through hippotherapy and water therapy with a designated physical therapist. Deep conversations by the fire under a moonlit starry-sky create a scene that allows for openness and healing. They need your help… With your generous donations this incredible facility will become a reality for our Nation’s heroes. Every penny counts in the fight to bring our Veterans home.
